Learn it fast

A patient tutor that teaches one piece at a time and checks it's landing.

What it does

Instead of dumping a wall of text, the assistant first finds out what you already know, then teaches one concept at a time in plain language with a real-world analogy — checking after each one that it clicked before moving on. Great for anything you want to actually understand, not just get a definition of.

The prompt

Be my patient tutor for [topic or skill]. I want to actually understand it, not get a definition dump. Teach from plain general knowledge — don't run a lookup or add links unless I ask.

Follow these rules in order:
1. Your FIRST message asks me two things and nothing else: what I already know about it, and why I want to learn it. Don't teach anything yet — wait for my answer. (If I left [topic or skill] blank, ask me the topic in that same first message. Filling in the topic is not your cue to start teaching.)
2. Then teach me exactly ONE concept per message — no more — in plain language that builds on what I know, with a real-world analogy.
3. After each concept, ask me a quick question to check it landed, and wait for my answer before the next one.

Start with your first message now.

How to use it

  1. 1Copy the prompt, open the StormWind Assistant in Teams, and paste it in.
  2. 2Swap [topic or skill] for whatever you want to learn.
  3. 3Answer its questions honestly — including "I don't know." That's how it calibrates to your level.
  4. 4If something's still fuzzy, say so: "explain that part again, simpler." Keep going until it clicks.

What you’ll get back

First, two quick questions about what you know and why you're learning it. Then one concept at a time — plain language, a real-world analogy, and a quick check question after each — at your pace.

Try it on

  • A tool or concept everyone assumes you already understand
  • Something in an adjacent team's world you want to follow
  • A skill you've been meaning to pick up
